Golden Teriyaki and Sushi is a great find in an unassuming strip mall. The restaurant was fairly empty on a weeknight but seemed to do a good takeout business. The food, though not outstanding or comparable to a nice Japanese restaurant, was very solid and an amazing price! For a casual takeout or fast casual sit down place, Golden Teriyaki and Sushi hits the spot! The restaurant was clean, it has a bathroom, and all of the bento boxes come with a fountain drink.
Delicious every time. Made fresh. The girls are helpful and efficient. There's always a nice cool place to sit. From the chicken teriyaki to the sushi amazing.
Food was very good. It was our first time there and the service was great. The sushi rolls were my favorite especially the crunchy tempura roll. The girl that served us was very nice and patient with us since we had such a big order.
Thought I would stop by and give this little spot a try since I just randomly s the huge yellow letters for their sign. . I'll cut to the chase and say it's not bad. I'm not sure about trying the sushi but the teriyaki is very similar to Yogi's. I would say it's really 3.5 stars but I'm going to round up for this one because when you order a plate you get a drink for free. That is a huge plus and for the price, it's worth it. I ordered the chicken teriyaki plate. For $12.99, it included steamed rice, a mediocre citrus-style salad, and a 16-ounce beverage. Given the recent high levels of inflation, it is somewhat expensive. I got it. I can't really criticize them for charging more. There are some less expensive options available, but practically everywhere you go right now, food and drinks cost at least $13. If you're hungry and want something better for you to consume than other manufactured foods, this is a terrific option.
I tried the California roll and the spicy tuna roll, because I had a craving for sushi and didn't want to get too full. It's good sushi at a to-go spot. I would order take out again if I was in the area.
